Darlene Colone Zabawa has roots in Detroit and south Florida prior to relocating to Austin in 1980 to stay. Darlene began her business career with Cox Newspapers and recently retired after more than 32 years of service.

As office manager in the newsroom of the Austin American-Statesman she made it her own with her enthusiasm and passion until her early retirement in 2006.

That same year she received her real estate license and has not stopped working since. She is embracing her real estate career with the same passion and nurturing she gave to the newsroom for so many years. Darlene has achieved the Accredited Buyer Representation (ABR) designation and puts her heart and soul into all of her relationships.

A native Austinite, Kim graduated from the University of Texas and met great success in the Austin and San Antonio area in real estate in the property management field. Kim quickly climbed the corporate ladder first as Staff Development Coordinator, Training Specialist and then Property Supervisor for large regional apartment communities. Kim coordinated and managed large teams of on site personnel to provide quality and efficient property management services.

Kim has continued her success over the last 10 years with Lake Travis Locating overseeing the largest inventory of residential properties in the Spicewood and Lake Travis markets.
